Day Trip #1

TRAILS & ALES

Uxbridge Township is the Trail Capital of Canada, with thousands of kilometres of trail running through it. You can hike, ride or run the Oak Ridges Trail, the Trans Canada Trail or the extensive in-town network of trails. Our favourite trails are in the Durham Forest, Glen Major Forest and the Uxbridge Countryside Preserve. Bring your bike, bring your dog, throw on your running shoes or hiking boots and exhilarate in the great outdoors and rolling hills of the moraine.

When you're done exploring for the day, you'll be thirsty. Just minutes away is our brewery, where you can join a convivial group enjoying beer in our tasting room or beer garden, talk to us about our beer and relax after a good day of play. You can bring in your own food, have us make you up a cheese board or order in from one of our great local restaurants. Then buy a growler and fill it to order, or bring home some bottles of your favourite beers to commemorate your day. Cheers!

Day Trip #2

SHOP LOCAL

The heart of any small town is its downtown, where independent business owners express their personality, contribute to the local culture and welcome visitors. Check out some of the best of Uxbridge along Brock Street: Blue Heron Books is one of Canada's best independent bookstores; The Passionate Cook's Essentials sells kitchenware, cookware, fine cheese and charcuterie; Presents Presents Presents is a fun gift shop to explore; Savon du Bois is a mecca for handcrafted soaps and bath products; Sugar FX and Nexus Coffee both sweeten the deal.

Rest your feet at the end of your shopping day with a visit to our brewery. Enjoy a flight or one of our many fine beers in our beer garden while you sort through all your new goodies, from one-of-a-kind stores in a one-of-a-kind town.

Don't drink and drive.
Whether you and your friends plan to stay overnight or not, decide on a designated driver before heading to the brewery. For help finding one of Ontario's beautiful inns and hotels, click here.
