Redline Brewhouse

Redline Brewhouse

After 25 years working in the Corporate world, Doug said "Enough!" He quit his very successful job selling heavy equipment and began again by selling one used piece of equipment at a time, reinventing ourselves in a healthier, happy way outside of the "Corporate Clone" mentality. No more bosses, meetings or impossible deadlines...

As the stress fell away, Doug would say, "I want a bar and will call it "Our Bar". Soon the passing joke of "Our Bar" became, "let's open a craft brewery."
We already knew WE don't do partnerships well but we quickly learned we did have a naturally affinity for creating a great business in a great industry.

So on January 1, 2015, Doug along with his wife Kari, son Devon and daughter Darci, we began imagining, creating and constructing Redline Brewhouse Inc. from scratch. It was an 8 month love/hate relationship as we danced and squirmed through the legalities, logistics, licensing, and long exhausting days and night to give life to the vision of "Our Bar". As the Universal Spirit would have it, we did in fact created a craft brewery named R-- which is the trademark for Redline Brewhouse. "Redline" is a name that personifies the Williams family - always on the move, pushing the limits of life, often struggling to conform.

After putting the finishing touches on a state of the art brewery and vintage industrial brewpub. The atmosphere is simple and yet, unique and inviting. It has been intentionally designed to embrace and encourage a sense of community.
Redline Brewhouse aims to showcase the Art of Craft Beer and provide a "gather place" for its patrons.

Beers Available

5:01
5:01
Bright with a clean white head, 5:01 brings together a blend of North American and European ingredients for a crisp, refreshing ale. Saphir, Strisselspalt, and Willamette hops provide the aroma and flavour of fresh oranges, and pepper with a soft floral character. A crackery malt character is lightened with wheat for an extremely drinkable beer with elegant charm. 5:01 captures that satisfying moment when work stops and beer begins.
Aggressive Jazz Hands
Aggressive Jazz Hands
Inspired by the delicate balance and finesse of Belgian Golden Ales of the old world, and the hop heavy, Double IPAs from the United States, Aggressive Jazz Hands looks to meld these styles into something new. A very clean malt body, with plenty of sugar provide a light and airy beer upon which to build. First fermented with a traditional abbey yeast strain from Belgium to coax out some of the fruity esters, our house ale yeast is added to encourage a strong fermentation, ensuring a dry finish and a balance to the Belgian character. A heavy dry hop of Enigma, with Vic. Secret and Centennial added for complexity provide big aromatics of fresh pineapple and tropical fruit with some pine and citrus lingering in the background. Without conforming to one style, this beer is here to be explored.
Air Ride
Air Ride
Air Ride pours a hazy yellow with a solid white. This big IPA has aromas of orange peel, melon, papaya with hints of lemon and lime. The flavour follows with bright fruit dominated by green melon, papaya, and orange and rounds out with lemon, lime, and soft malt. The mouthfeel is soft and pillowy with moderate bitterness.
Brother Douglas
Brother Douglas
Aromas of fresh baked bread, toffee, banana, and orchard fruits. Beer starts sweet on the palate with the depth of Belgian and English caramel malts bringing flavours of rustic toasted bread, and toffee sauce before giving way to a light bitterness, and spicy notes from the Saaz hops and Belgian yeast. The beer finishes dry, giving it a quaffable character despite it's 6.5%ABV strength. Rich reddish brown in colour, with a tan head. Simple and complex in the traditional style of a Belgian Dubbel.
Check Engine
Check Engine
Check Engine ours a burnished copper with an off white head. Aromas of caramel and toffee with fresh bread and light floral hop character mixed in. The flavour follows with a crips body of toasted malt, bread crust and caramel, the finish is clean and malty with a touch of floral fruit from the Ahtanum hops.
Clutch
Clutch
Clutch pours a hazy straw colour and is topped with a creamy white head. A large dose of flaked oats provides a luscious and soft mouthfeel. Hopped generously with Centennial, Citra, Amarillo, and Mandarina Bavaria, Clutch bursts with flavours of orange peel, grapefruit, peaches and pine. A load of dry-hops are used at the end of fermentation for lush aromas of fresh tropical fruit, pine, and citrus. Soft and aggressive at the same time, Clutch is right where you want it.
LCBO #461756 (473 mL can)
Double Clutch
Double Clutch
Not a straight double version of Clutch, but inspired by it with a load of oats, and Citra hops complemented by some of our other favourite tropical and sticky varietals. Big soft flavours. Appearance is a Hazy orange, sticky, with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet peach/apricot, mango, lychee and a touch of sweet malt with resinous pine underneath. The flavour is tropical fruit up front, with pine and citrus underneath. Sweet malt comes in and rounds out the flavour. Mouthfeel is sticky, with a firm bitter finish. Some dryness and alcoholic warmth.
Leather Interior
Leather Interior
Leather Interior is a rich, decadent take on a brown ale that is full of complexity and nuance. A deep brown colour with tan head, it serves up sumptuous aromas of bakers chocolate, vanilla, almonds, tobacco, and oak. The flavour follows suit with a balanced, medium body and a slight hint of oak on the finish to counter the sweeter characteristics of the malt and vanilla.
Rainbow In The Dark
Rainbow In The Dark
Rainbow In The Dark pours a hazy orange body with off-white foam. It's brewed with rye and honey malt for a creamy, body with a slightly sweet malt character. Rainbow In The Dark is loaded with Columbus, Vic. Secret, and El Dorado hops giving off aromas of papaya, lemon, lime, and strawberry weed. The flavours follow suit with a dank, hoppy finish and nice bitterness.
Sprung!
Sprung!
A hazy golden pour is topped with a lasting white foam. The aroma is lemon and lime, white peppercorns, Belgian yeast esters contribute some banana and bubblegum. The beer starts out with juicy hops, moves to biscuit malt and finishes dry, bitter and refreshing. Perfect for the weather as it warms.
The Mechanic
The Mechanic
The Mechanic is our interpretation of a rustic farmhouse saison brewed for the hardworking farmhands of northern France and southern Belgium. Brewed with raw and flaked wheat, flaked barley and flaked rye for body and character, Summer and Helga hops from Australia and the intriguing Old World Saison blend of yeast from the awesome Escarpment Labs. This beer is bright fruit, lemon, and spice on the nose, with a nice cereal grain flavour mingling with the hops and yeast, and it is bone dry with a firm bitterness.
