Haliburton Highlands Brewing

Day Trip #1

Wake up in the expansive Haliburton Forest and start your day with a Cookhouse breakfast. Visit the Haliburton Forest Wolf Center before winding your way to Haliburton Highlands Brewing and Abbey Gardens. Enjoy a pint on our patio, tour the gardens and meet the ponies. Then it's on to the village of Haliburton for an easy hike through the Haliburton Sculpture Forest. Snap up some geo-caches or take in the local arts. A late afternoon dinner at McKecks - The Blueline is a Haliburton favourite. Head back to the brewery for your beer-to-go and it's campfire time!

Day Trip #2

Get your day off to an exhilarating start with mountain biking or snowboarding at Sir Sam's Ski & Bike. Quench your well earned thirst at HHB with a pint of Blueline Blonde or Skipping Stone Kolsch and grab some beer-to-go before heading to the cottage for an evening of star gazing.

Day Trip #3

Winter is an awesome time to visit the Haliburton Highlands! Miles of snowmobiling, snowshoeing or cross country skiing
trails wait to be explored, or try your hand a mushing with one of two world famous dog sledding operators - WinterDance and the Haliburton Forest & Wildlife Reserve. After a day of exhilarating outdoor adventures, head to the brewery for a tasting flight or pick up bottles to go and cozy up next to the fire.

Day Trip #4

Cottage Country Beer Trail - This is a fantastic fall-colour drive in the heart of the Land Between. Start in Gravenhurst at Sawdust City Brewery; then to Bracebridge and Muskoka Brewery. Head north west to catch Highlander Brewing in South River. Head back south to Baysville and Lake of Bays Brewing before making the winding lakeside drive to Carnarvon and Boshkung Brewing. The final stop is a mere 10 minutes away at Haliburton Highlands Brewing near bustling West Guilford - gateway to Kennisis Lake, Redstone Lake & the Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve.
