The Keefe brothers expanded into Toronto in 1991 after starting up the Granite Brewery in Halifax six years prior. Granite Brewery produces a wide variety of brews and is focused on bringing a rich, classic, old English taste to the public palate.

A rich copper coloured bitter, well hopped in the English tradition with a pleasant hop fragrance and a smooth dry finish. A blend of 2 row Canadian barley and imported carastan and black malts. ABV 4.5%

Or simply "Dry Hopped" to our regulars, this is our Best Bitter generously dry hopped with wonderful results. A classic cask conditioned ale.
Darkside
Darkside
Black in colour, this American IPA starts with a rich maltiness with notes of coffee, chocolate and roast, and follows with a very hoppy, bitter finish. Using five different malts and three hop additions, it is a strong but well balanced ale.

A refreshing malty dark wheat beer with hints of chocolate, banana and bubble gum. ABV
Galactic Pale Ale
Galactic Pale Ale
Golden in colour, this IPA is generously hopped with cascade from the US and Galaxy hops from New Zealand giving it an aroma and taste of tropical fruit. ABV 4.5
Gin Lane Ale
Gin Lane Ale
A barley wine, slightly sweet with hints of sherry and quite strong at 9% ABV. Well hopped with Goldings and Fuggles.

Done every St. Patrick's Day weekend, the stouts change slightly from year to year, but recurring flavours are chocolate chili, maple, vanilla and chocolate.

A dark ale with malt character and a hint of smoke. Well balanced, not too bitter and not quite as "mild" as you'd think at 3.8% ABV!

Originally brewed for Movember, this milk stout is made with chai spices including vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, black pepper and cardamom.
Winter Cabin Strong Ale
Winter Cabin Strong Ale
This dark ale starts with a slight smokiness, follows with high notes of caramel and finishes dry. Malt smoked in house with maple wood and the use of the kettle caramelization technique makes this the perfect accompaniment to a cold Canadian winterís day. ABV 6.0
