Thirst quenching golden ale with a lovely blackberry flavour
Curmudgeon IPA
Curmudgeon IPA
Clear copper colour with a large white head. Aroma is biscuity & mildly sweet malt, herbal & earthy hops. Both malt & hops start off subtly but build as you get into it, developing into a marmalade character in the finish. At 6.0% abv and 60 bitterness units, this is big beer and a classic English rendition of the style.

Enigma Black Lager
Enigma Black Lager
A deep ruddy oxblood coloured pour with a thick creamy off-white head. The aroma is softly smoky/earthy nose with a hint of soft malt sweetness. The flavour offers a moderate sweetness and a nice fullness to the palate with a clean finish.
Galt Knife Old Style
Galt Knife Old Style
A pre-prohibition style lager - Offers a distinct golden colour. The body and mouth are full and the distinctively hoppy bitterness set it apart from conventional lagers. At 4.4% ABV, a very drinkable lager.

Highballer Pumpkin Ale
Our first seasonal, introduced for Thanksgiving and Halloween. Pumpkin pie, right in your face. Based on a pale ale, with pumpkin meat added to the mash, giving it an orange hue and the traditional pie spices; cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and allspice added to the boil. A stronger ale at 5.5% ABV designed to warm you inside, while the aromas conjure up memories of good times spent around a harvest table.

Each winter we produce a strong, flavoured beer to help ease in the winter season. At 7% abv this beer will go great by the fire or in the hot tub.

Traditional Mild (English) Ale. A gorgeous mahogany colour and thick creamy head, begs you to try this ale. Notes of coffee, chocolate and toasted nuts are balanced with just enough hopping. At 3.5% ABV a true session beer.

An Old English style ale, robust, full flavoured at 7% ABV
Plowman
Plowman's Ale
This is a big, bold beer that is loaded with four malts and five types of hops that blend to achieve a distinct rounded balance. This deep ruby coloured ale has beautiful spicy and slightly citrus hop aroma. The flavour starts with a rounded malt body, notable bitterness and a finish that is 'back of the throat'. 4.7% ABV. Enjoy!

Appearance is opaque dark brown with a small tan head. Sweet aroma of roasted coffee, chocolate with light port wine notes. Flavour is roasted coffee, cocoa, caramel and treacle. Medium body, faint alcohol and vanilla. 8.4% ABV

Day Trip #1

Historic Downtown Galt Cambridge,

Enjoy a leisurely day trip with a walking tour of the beautiful stone churches around the town square, mill race walking paths along the Grand River with a stop at the brewery for a tour and tasting. Then plan for lunch or dinner at one of the local pubs or restaurants with their lovely outdoor patios.

Day Trip #2

Local brewery tours and tastings

Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph and surrounding area are home to several outstanding Ontario Craft Breweries. Plan to visit the breweries for tours and tastings then have lunch or dinner at some of the outstanding pubs and restaurants in the area.

Day Trip #3

Come to Cambridge to visit the new Drayton Festival Theatre opened March 2013. The down town core is now becoming a great location for home decor shops too.
