Fruit Beers: Sweet Spring Has Sprung (Part 2) No Comments »

In part two of the Ontario Brewer Podcast on fruit beers, Mirella, Joel Manning and Ryan Morrow explore the aroma and flavours in the Mill Street Frambozen and Lemon Tea Beer as well as the Nickel Brook Uniek and Green Apple Pilsner. These two brewmasters then share their impressions of beer cocktails that were made using their beers as an ingredient. You will find the recipes for these cocktails on the OCB Website.

The cocktails were designed by cocktail researcher Christine Sismondo. Christine has a new book coming out in June called America Walks Into a Bar: A Spirited History of Taverns and Saloons, Speakeasies and Grog-Shops. It is the first-ever history of the American bar and the role in played in History. The book is available at both and Chapters Indigo.
