Cameron’s Let’s Drink the Cask Night | Thursday February 28th | Warning: It’s BIG February 20th, 2008 No Comments »
Hello friends,
This month’s Cameron’s Cask Night will be on Thursday February 28th, from 6:00 - 8:00pm
Cameron’s Cask Nights are a casual and intimate monthly event at the brewery. The guestlist only event is mainly a chance for us to share a glass of our latest creation with our friends, supporters and our local community.
For those who have not been to the brewery before, this is a great chance to meet the folks behind the scenes and to tour our facility. As always, you are welcome to show up between 5pm and 6pm if you’d like a free tour of the brewery.
We will be tapping the Cask between 6pm and 6:15pm. Some people asked for a BIG beer at the last cask night…this one should be BIG.
We will bring in some local food to enjoy as well. The food will be available at 6pm.
Check out some Cask Night Video Clips on our Facebook Fan Page or on You Tube.
The event is capped at 60 people to keep it intimate and to ensure everyone gets a taste of the cask. We have already had some people pre-RSVP, so we’re down to roughly 30 remaining spots…so confirm your attendance as quickly as possible.
For any questions or to RSVP (if you haven’t already), email mike@cameronsbrewing.com
For more information or to get directions, visit this Cameron’s link. Hope to see you all there.
Cheers.
Mike

Canadian Brewing Awards - Take 1 November 22nd, 2007 5 Comments »
Sweet, I get to make the first post about the 2007 Canadian Brewing Awards.
Another year of great times with some of the best people around. Tonight was like the Oscars for us folks in the Canadian brewing scene and although the weather sucked, fun times were had by all. Since it's a little after one in the morning I'm going to keep this short and let everyone else follow it up with how they did and give their $0.02. We had a good showing tonight bringing home an award in the North American Lager and Cream Ale categories, congratulations to our brewers Jason Britton and Adam Ramanauskas for brewing great beers. Congrats to all the brewers that won tonight especially the well represented OCB group.
I only managed to get a few pictures due to a technical issue (I forgot to recharge the battery) but check them out below.
Cheers
Jason Ellsmere

Golden Tap Awards August 21st, 2007 No Comments »
Great to see some OCB'ers out for the Golden Tap Awards at beerbistro. A fun night with tasty food, good people and a great beer selection. Thoroughly enjoyed Denison’s Weissbier, Black Oak's Transvestite's Tipple, and Church-Key's West Coast Pale Ale.
Congrats to all the winners and thanks to beerbistro for hosting and for the 20+ mini sandwiches/burgers I tackled.
Until next time.
