Beau’s on the LCBO shelf February 28th, 2008

Well, we finally did it! That’s right, we got our LCBO #. We’ve lined up stores. We’ll be delivering on Tuesday. The LCBO! Now we just need to figure out how to invoice them, how delivering works and stuff like that. You know, the everything else.

My sister, Jen, spent a half day calling prospective stores and got 10 lined up, which was really cool. Here’s the list so far:

Pretty exciting stuff. I started looking into the listing process in May 2007 and its been a long journey getting here. The staff at the LCBO have been really quite helpful though; I can’t imagine how difficult it would have been without their extra help.

Congrats Steve. How about getting your beer in the LCBO in Peterborough? If there is no shelf space, tell them to get rid of all that Polish Lager I see on their shelves. It’s about time we got more Ontario craft beer and get rid of all those boring imports.

Hey Lister, our listing with the LCBO is a temporary, Ottawa-area only one. I like this, we need to walk before we run and right now, its a little overwhelming just supplying the orders we already have in the books…especially because my brother, who normally delivers beer to half our accounts, broke his ankle on the weekend.
