With last year's Orange Peel Ale meeting huge success in Ontario. Great Lakes Brewery will be kicking off the summer season with the launch of this year's Orange Peel Ale at the Victory Cafe in the Annex. Well known for its craft beers and fine pub fare, the Victory Café at 581 Markham St. in Toronto's Annex will feature live music, orange-themed food and of course, Great Lakes beers.

The 2008 Beer and Cocktail Show will include beers from The Robert Simpson Brewing Co. in Barrie and the Mill Street Brewery in Toronto. The show promises to be the party that defines the summer of 2008, and will without a doubt be an unforgettable experience. With exciting entertainment ranging from the long awaited fashion/bikini contest, unforgettable live performances, interactive shows, tips and recipes for cooking with beer and an incredible world of beer and spirits all under one roof.

May 24th Annual BBQ for The Gatehouse

The Ontario Craft Brewers are big fans of giving back to their local communities and no where is this more evident than the Great Lake Brewery's May 24th BBQ fundraiser for The Gatehouse, a safe house for families, youths and adults whose lives have been affected by childhood abuse.
This annual event will feature a live band at the brewery and 'pay what you can' BBQ with all donations going to The Gatehouse.
If you can't make it to the brewery be sure to pick up some Great Lakes Brewery beer on the 24th as all sales of Great Lakes brands at the LCBO, Beer Store and brewery retail store will also be donated to The Gatehouse.
Mondiale du Biere - Montreal

The annual Mondiale de la bière is the largest international beer festival in North America and celebrates the culture of beer and reclaiming beer's noble heritage. This year the Ontario Craft Brewers are proud to be represented at the festival by Beau's All Natural Brewing Co. from Vankleek Hill, ON.
The festival features beer tastings from around the world, beer making, workshops and more all complemented by entertainment and shows throughout. Located at the Windsor Station, downtown Montreal, the 15th edition of the Mondiale de la bière will be worth the trip for Ontario craft beer drinkers. With brewers from all five continents attending, more than 300 beers and nearly 85,000 guests this international event is sure to satisfy.

Luminato - Toronto's Festival of Arts and Creativity

This summer the Ontario Craft Brewers will be mingling with Canada's artistic crowd at Luminato - Toronto's Festival of Arts and Creativity. This year's program encompasses a broad spectrum of creative expression including music, dance, theatre, film, literature, visual arts and lectures.
Boogie down with the Ontario Craft Brewers as Mill Street Brewery joins some of North America's best dance bands during "Light On Your Feet". With free dance lessons every night between June 6th and 11th at Yonge-Dundas Square this is an event not to be missed.
