First-Ever Toronto Beer Week Is Coming This September
Inaugural event will run from September 20-26, 2010 in venues all across the city.
Head's up, beer lovers. Toronto is joining the list of North American cities who host special beer weeks celebrations Our very own Toronto Beer Week, the first of its kind, will take place from September 20-26th at venues all across the city.
The week-long celebration of craft brewing will feature dozens of events held at some
of the city’s finest restaurants, bars and pubs, including beer dinners, tastings, brewing demonstartions, neighbourhood pub crawls, beer trivia nights, and much more.
Over 40 pubs/bars/restaurants have already signed up, along with three Brewpubs, five importers, and 17 Breweries. There will be over 10,000 passports to hand out for the festivities.
Toronto Beer Week is dedicated to the
celebration and advancement of the craft beer movement, and will showcase
authentically brewed and flavourful beer, the talented brewers who create
them, and the licensees who proudly support them.
