New Discovery Pack No.4 Features Six Medal Winners
The newest Ontario Craft Brewers Discovery Pack (LCBO # 168351) – number 4 in our series – is now available at participating LCBO stores. As a tribute to the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, the latest Discovery Pack, which contains a completely new six-pack line-up in bottles, features beers that have won medals at brewing competitions.
The side of the case also includes a heartfelt message of support to all Canada's athletes. As a tribute to our new offering, we've also developed two new Olympics-inspired recipes, featuring beers from the Discovery pack as cooking ingredients. And, throughout the month of February, there will be tastings at select LCBO stores, affording beer lovers the chance to experience some of the featured beers firsthand.

As the eyes of the world focus on Canada during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, B.C., three members of the Ontario Craft Brewers will also be there at the Ontario Pavillion. Visitors from across the country ... and the entire planet ... will have a chance to sample some of our terrific OCB offerings.
OCBers in attendance are Mill Street Brewing, Beau's All Natural Brewing, and Great Lakes Brewing.
And, of course, all of us at the Ontario Craft Brewers want to express our wholehearted support for Canada's athletes as they take on the world. Our brewers know a thing or two about winning medals themselves, and we're confident glory awaits. Go Canada!

Our OCB Style Sheet helps you understand the different beer styles

To help you get your head around the various beers styles, we've created an OCB Style Sheet, called "Ontario Craft Brewers: Understanding a Range of Authentic Beer Styles". This downloadable one-page summary starts with a spectrum of light to dark major beer categories, then goes on to list the various styles and sub-styles available within each. There are also notes on what to look for in terms of appearance, flavour and aroma, plus some basic food pairing suggestions.
